Sooo.....

1. write your username. Uh it's sundancekid74 because I had been watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as part of a Paul Newman kick I was on, and the 74 is because that is the year The Sting came out. So now I like to think of it as a tribute to his brilliance.

2. write your 2 favorite bands/groups of the moment. Umm my two most played "bands" are The Fratellis and Flogging Molly. But, They Might Be Giants are my total favorite right now.

3. write something you love, aka lemme see your heart. Let's see, can I say Linus Roache? No? Then I'll say I love that I am adopted, and that I'm lucky enough to live with people who actually want me. And appreciate me (which at times might be hard to do, I admit that). Because I'm adopted I go to school where I do, and I have the friends I do and the teachers (props to Mr. D!) I do, and they even tolerate me.

4. write the name of your favorite person of all time. Oh man.... that changes from time to time. Right now the figure that seems most prevalent is Bobby Kennedy, who I pretty much idolize. But for real people I'd say that because it is such a huge part of my life, my debate coach Jim Dornan is, on a daily basis, my favorite person. 

5. write the name of your recent favored person. See? That's hard too, um, I want to say like something along the lines of the cast of The BIg Bang Theory or for real people, maybe Dr. Boeke, my English teacher who berates us about using prepositions that way God intended them to be used, or assuring everyone that the English language was, indeed, created by Satan. 

And, for both of the above, recent favorite, but a character I have just been reminded that I love, is Atticus Finch. Although he isn't real I adore him, I love the idea of Atticus, and his lessons. He's classic. 

Dude.... I just went a whole post with mentioning Craig Ferguson.

I'm kinda bored right now.... so.... I'll do this.

Oscar season.

I have seen 37 films at the cinema this year, and that number is likely to reach around 50, with the field of Best Picture Nominees being expanded to 10 films this year. I want to talk about these movies a bit more around here, encourage people to go see them and this is how I'll start, by posting trailers of films that I predict are going to do extremely well. These three trailers share a common theme: George Clooney.

This is going to be the year of The Clooney (as last year it was The Downey). Here are the trailers for Up In The Air, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Men Who Stare At Goats. The three films all have me excited for completely different reasons. Trailers under the cut.
